Double"H"- HAPPY AND HONOUR

It was casual day when I decided to take some pictures of new looks. And here we are, Fashion Finder team picked one of my pictures and I became "Spotlight"

They said about my style: The runways, with their theatrical styling and constant trend creation, serve up new style inspiration every season. Then Anna Dello Russo and co fan the fash-flames, tottering around in the latest catwalk ensembles looking epic. The fantasy and glamour of it all is contagious, but it also leaves our blog reader wanting for something wearable. Nickey plugs this gap. Seamlessly she weaves directional trends with closet classics before plucking a few choice pieces from her mum’s wardrobe. The result is fun, fresh and real, and all the better for it.

Sporty Chic

For off-duty days I love mixing comfort with trend-led influences, so these tie-dyed jeans are just perfect. Tie-dye is really popular for summer as is the sports luxe trend, so I paired my jeans with a retro bomber jacket and ASOS pastel sandles. The jacket was the love at first sight actually! I found it in my mum's wardrobe and like it's retro look. And I love the fact that my mum’s wardrobe is still on-trend!

How would your friends describe your style?
They would say my look is quite wearable. Very fresh with plenty of bright colour and print. My friends know I love my bright colour and clashing prints!

What are your wardrobe workhorses?
This season I'm loving pastels, prints and neon. I couldn’t live without my pastel peach blazer, elephant print shirt and stackable neon bracelets too.

Fave fashion reads?
I love discovering new blogs from my Fashion Finder friends; I recently spotted Classy Fabulous. Her style is very classic and super inspirational.

Whose style do you admire?
Czech model, Karolina Kurkova, always looks great. She is trendy, sometimes bold in her fashion choices, but she always looks feminine and natural.

Outfit of the week on ASOS Fashion Finder

Reasons to love Spring: blossom on the trees, baby lambs frolicking in the fields and the ability to relegate your heavy-duty Winter coat to the back of the closet. While it may be a tad optimistic of us to banish outerwear all together just yet (after all the pesky April showers are just around the corner), we’re convinced that a light jacket worn over Nickey’s ensemble will make for a season appropriate and chic sartorial combination. We love that she’s moved on A/W’s power jumpers and pencil skirts with pastel hues, and elevated the sweet palette into the realm of cool with sporty pumps and a witty Charlotte Taylor fisherman print. It’s a winning outfit that got us hook, line and sinker this week.
